The line's first newbuild, Song of Norway, entered service in 1970, and today, RCI operates a fleet of modern super- and megaliners including the largest cruise ship afloat, the Oasis of the Seas. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is the second largest cruise ship operator in the world with revenues in excess of $4 billion. It owns 28 ships with more than 65,000 berths on them and is growing.

Power Tumblers/Gymnasts OASIS ONLY

NOTE: CPR and PADI Certification is required for ALL Aqua Cast/Acro Performers prior to rehearsals.

Seeking:
MEN: Looking for power tumblers/gymnasts with excellent control, form (lines, feet) and technique in their tumbling elements. Diving a plus. Must be a confident swimmer.
WOMEN : Same as men above, but looking for grace and fluid form. Ballet training a plus. Diving a plus. Must be confident swimmers.

All tumblers/gymnasts must be comfortable and proficient in performing the following tumbling/elements on (hard) stage surface;

-Floor Tumbling/Gymnastics
Standing back handsprings
Standing Back tuck
Side aerial ( Right or Left)
Round off back hand spring back tuck
Round off back hand spring Lay out
Any punch fronts or front aerial walkovers (may be required in some tracking...only if fully confident)
Additional tumbling passes or speciality tricks you are comfortable to perform on a regular basis
Round off back hand spring single back, and or half/full twisting back (NOT required, but shows high skill level)

-Trampoline work or Fast track work
We are looking for high difficulty.

Anything multiple tricks in a row on a standard Trampoline OR Fast Track NOTE: Both will be used in performances
Suggestions:
Single/ Double backs in succession (tuck or layout form)
Multiple(in succession) round off whip backs ( layout form )
Double backs and multiple twisting elements.
Front punches in layout form
Back handspring in place (ie.. a Russian /Circus skill)
Any passes on the floor exercise that can be executed on a Fast Track (Looking for "WOW" factor)

NOTE: All Acrobats must be a proficient swimmers and will NEED to be PADI Certified prior to rehearsals. RCI will assist with information

Divers: OASIS ONLY - looking to see all dives you have accomplished to date from 10M and/or 3M springboard . If you have synchro footage, please make sure to identify which diver you are. Include Comedy dives if you have them.

NOTE: CPR and PADI Certification is required for ALL Aqua Cast/Acro Performers prior to rehearsals.

Featured High Divers: OASIS ONLY ... your highest, most impressive dive, plus any 10M and/or 3M spring board dives you have. IncludeComedy dives if you have them.

Synchronized Swimmers: OASIS ONLY ... Solo routines only please. Duos and Trios may be submitted as long as you identify which swimmer you are. Team routines may be submitted only if you are the swimmer being lifted or tossed. Please include footage of your eggbeaters traveling across a pool, arms held high, as well as footage of your vertical position for an extended length of time.

Please also include a demonstration of your strength and endurance.

Please include footage of your movement ability, either a choreographed piece (no longer than 1.5 minutes) or an improvisational piece is required. Please ensure the audio portion is intact so that we can evaluate your musicality as well. We are not looking for great dancers, just an ability to move, interpret music, and be directed.

Optional footage may include any acting you have done, or special skills which you think set you apart from others in your field. Aerial skills a plus.

Note: All our Specialty Performers (below) should be able to dance/move in order to be considered for our Production Shows.
